The orchard is 8400 square meters (just over 2 acres) and has well over 500 trees, most of which produce 'Navel' oranges. These oranges produce an annual income and are picked and collected by a local company. Recent annual crops have been around 16 tons.
There are many other fruit trees growing in the orchard for personal use
. For the new owner not wanting to personally maintain the orchard, local people will look after it for an hourly rate (as-required), or in return for the income from the crop.

This property is situated about 3km from the quaint old town of Álora which has many interesting features, including the remains of a Moorish castle on one of the two hills on which the town straddles.
